I want: Erickson Beamon for Target

Attention Target Shopaholics: The Erickson Beamon collection is slowly coming to an end! Designers Karen Erickson and Vicki Beamon teamed up with the Bullseye earlier this year to create a divine jewelry collection filled with flowers, Chanel-esque ribbon & chains, and candy-colored stones. Pieces are available in most stores and online with prices beginning as low as $14.99. Get your hands on this limited edition collection before it becomes extinct!

Madonna for Louis Vuitton Fall/Winter '09-'10

It looks like Madonna's days with Louis Vuitton aren't over yet! The ever-changing icon is back yet again as the star of LV's Fall/Winter ad campaign. Photographer Steven Meisel (learn more about this photog in May's issue of American VOGUE) captured Madge striking stiff, doll-like poses. I know everyone is dissing Madonna's highly photo shopped wrinkle-free skin, but I've gotta admit I like it - a lot. Her almost-porcelain skin really compliments the deep, warm colors of the wardrobe, bags, and couture bunny years (side note: I want a pair so bad).

Do you like LV's newest ad campaign? Not feeling Madonna's look? Love/hate the bags? Leave it in a comment!

Sneak Peek: Anna Wintour in The September Issue

After months of anticipation, the trailer for The September Issue is finally here! Featuring VOGUE's Editor-in-Chief (a.k.a. my writing hero) Anna Wintour and the staff of the rule-making magazine, this documentary exposes behind-the-scenes at the legendary magazine and the hard work it takes to create the biggest, heaviest, ad-filled issue of each year.

I was already excited once I heard the news Anna was filming a documentary, but what took me over the edge was Sephora Pro Gilbert Gabriel's encounter with the legend. Although I don't know Gilbert personally (he's a friend of a friend), I was so ecstatic that he met Wintour and did her makeup (twice) for this year's Sundance Film Festival.

The September Issue is not to be missed, especially for those curious about the "Real Devil Wears Prada," fashion lovers, or people appreciative of good documentaries. With inside access to the hallways of VOGUE and the life of fashion's most influential woman, who wouldn't want to see the all that lies behind Wintour's black sunglasses and blonde bangs?

Do You Need A Spendervention?

With the deterioration of incomes and the rise of summer heat, many fashionistas recessionistas are finding relief at off-price retailers like Marshalls and T.J. Maxx for affordable yet chic apparel and accessories. I've always been a fan of such stores because the selection is always a surprise and usually on-trend. Plus, the prices are unbeatable!

I recently made a trip to both Marshalls and T.J. Maxx and found plenty of clothes and accessories perfect for this time of year. I have to admit that I was impressed at the selection of clothing, especially in the plus-size isles where, more often than not, the variety is lacking in color and shape.

I was most impressed by the variety of Maxi Dresses at Marshalls! Available in bold or soft hues, cute patterns, and easy-to-wear fabric, the Maxi Dress is great for summertime and now easy to afford with Marshalls' low prices (I'm talking as little as $20!).

Who could deny such great deals on clothes and accessories? Shop at your nearest Marshalls or T.J. Maxx to have your own "Spendervention." Your wardrobe and wallet will be pleasantly surprised.
